A simple weekly structure to reduce context switching and finish what matters. Consistency beats intensity. A steady rhythm turns ideas into work that ships.

The 5-Block Week (use 45–90 minute blocks)

  1. Focus Block (Mon/Tue): Priority project only. No inbox.

  2. Client Block (Tue/Wed): Delivery + status updates.

  3. Pipeline Block (Wed): Outreach, proposals, follow-ups logged.

  4. Admin Block (Thu): Finance, ops, scheduling.

  5. Learning/Recovery (Fri): Review week, light learning, early finish.

Guardrails

  • One list, one place. Tasks live in a single doc (Notion/Google Doc).

  • Theme your days. Protect at least 2 Focus Blocks from meetings.

  • Define “done.” Each task has a visible end state (e.g., “proposal sent”).

  • Right-size. When tired, cut scope, not quality.

Mini Retrospective (10 minutes, Friday)

  • What moved the needle?

  • What felt heavy (and why)?

  • What gets simplified next week?
